local group of business people who felt that the Savannah area needed an independent,
locally owned and operated bank after all of the mergers and acquisitions in this area.
The Bank obtained a national charter and opened for business on August 22, 1990. The Savannah Bank emphasizes superior customer service and operates from five convenient locations in Chatham County. Every effort is made to train and support our employees so that they provide the best customer service available in our area. We have recently gone into production with our online banking product.
